Cultural Geography
Course Description:
This course teaches students about world cultures. This course seeks to open the world to students, leading them on a guided tour of
unique people groups, the places they inhabit, and the cultures they created. This course seeks to teach a proper view of the various cultures that have developed and how they each relate to
a Biblical world view and the Creation Mandate.
Course Outcomes:
- To study themes of geography-the world in spatial terms, places and regions, environments and societies, physical and human systems, and uses of geography.
- To improve geography skills
- Visual analysis of various types of maps, timelines, images, and graphical representation of statistical data sets.
- Biblical world view development regarding cultural evaluation, world religions, institutions, social groups, aesthetics, and physical environments.

Assessments
- Students are given multiple map and activity pages weekly
- Students are assigned questions over chapters and notes taken
- Students will be quizzed weekly over material taught
- Students will have one exam per quarter over chapters covered
